Research Interests

My research and teaching interests primarily address broad topics in environmental health sciences. The current studies have been emphasizing on (1) estimation of health risk owing to undesired exposure to chemicals, (2) the fate and transport of chemicals in the multimedia environment; especially, on chemical speciation; (3) the transformation of chemicals in the environment which includes how a non-harmful species turns to a toxin as well as the intoxication processes, (4) sampling and analysis of organic compounds released because of anthropogenic activities. My works comprise laboratory and field studies that include method development in the lab and its application in field as well as the theoretical simulation, thus, the environmental fate and process of chemicals can be understood; therefore, their potential health risk can be estimated and properly managed.
